Peterson Brothers Triumph
It was the Thunder and Lightning show once more as the two undefeated Peterson brothers provided the fireworks for Mississippi fight fans. 23-year-old Lamont Peterson, the older brother by 14 months scored a ten round unanimous decision over the previously undefeated Brazilian Antonio Mesquita. That was the thunder presentation, while the harder hitting Anthony Peterson dropped Cuba’s Jose Izquierdo three times before the contest was eventually halted at 2:54 of the 8th, to provide the lightning.
