Bute Halts Berrio Captures IBF Belt
Travel has its benefits and for one hard nosed boxer it has meant and eventual world championship. Hard-hitting undefeated Romanian lefthander Lucian “Le Tombeur” Bute, who now calls Montreal, Quebec home scored a scalding 11th round TKO over Colombia’s Alejandro Berrio, to win the IBF super middleweight title.

Undefeated Lucian Bute won the IBF super-middleweight title Friday night, stopping Colombia’s Alejandro Berrio in the 11th round at the Bell Centre.
