Brash, cocky and with a fair amount of talent IBF junior welterweight king Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi managed to defend his crown in his first title defense but it wasn’t easy. With all the bravado of Brooklyn, Malignaggi labored to pound out a twelve round unanimous decision over the IBF’s number one challenger Herman Ngoudjo but the fight was much closer than the scorecards reflected.
