Grinnell guard breaks NCAA assists record with 34
David N. Arseneault shattered the NCAA assists record when he had 34 in Grinnell College’s 151-112 win over North Central University of Minnesota in a Division III game Saturday.

No fights as No. 5 Hoyas whip Jacksonville
No fights and no forfeit. Sunday’s game between Georgetown and Jacksonville went more according to script than the last time the teams met, with the No. 5 Hoyas dominating the slumping Dolphins 87-55. Freshman Austin Freeman scored 15 points to lead the Hoyas, who shot a season-high 59 percent and pulled away late in the first half to improve to 7-0 for the first time since the 2003-04 season.

Grinnell guard sets record with 34 assists
The points kept coming, and so did the assists. David N. Arseneault shattered the NCAA assists record when he had 34 in Grinnell College’s 151-112 win over North Central University of Minnesota in a Division III game Saturday. The previous record of 26 was set in 1989 by Robert James of Division III Kean University.
