Kevin Love’s freshman season is speeding along, with half the Pac-10 schedule remaining. He’ll always remember the just completed four-game stretch. Love had 26 points and 11 rebounds for his 13th double-double and No. 5 UCLA routed Arizona 82-60 on Saturday night for its 20th victory of the season. “Everybody saw this game today, so they know how good we are,” he said about the ESPN telecast.

Penn St. upsets No. 8 Michigan St. 85-76 (AP)
Penn State’s youngsters passed a stiff test at the free-throw line and got a huge reward. Stanley Pringle scored 19 points and Penn State went 16-of-20 from the foul line in the game’s final four minutes to upend No. 8 Michigan State 85-76 on Saturday night and snap the Spartans’ five-game winning streak.
