Altesse beat odds-on favorite Runway Rosie by a head Friday in the $64,950 Sweetzie Stakes for fillies and mares at Aqueduct. Ramon Dominguez was aboard for trainer Shug McGaughey as Altesse earned her fifth win in 19 starts. The 5-year-old engaged the pacesetting Runway Rosie at the top of the stretch, and those two dueled to the wire in a virtual match race.
