Stud Muffin rallied to beat the pacesetting Stormin Normandy by a half-length Friday in the $77,250 Noble Nashua Stakes for New York breds at Belmont Park. Jockey John Velazquez altered course in the lane, shifting to the inside for clearance as Stud Muffin gathered the momentum that carried the 4-year-old colt to his fifth win in 20 starts.
