Street Sense to stand at stud for $75K
The stud fees are in from Darley America: Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense will stand for $75,000, Hard Spun for $50,000. Street Sense closed out his career with a disappointing fourth-place finish in the $5 million (?3.5 million) Breeders’ Cup at Monmouth Park on Saturday, with Hard Spun finishing second behind Curlin. Street Sense, last year’s 2-year-old champion, won six of 13 races and earned $4.38 million (?3 million) for owner James Tafel.

Scorpion Set For Retirement
SCORPION is set to be retired to stud after an injury ruled him out of Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup.
