Iowa Speedway to host Truck Series race in ‘09
Iowa Speedway will host a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race — formerly known as the Craftsman Truck Series — on Sept. 5, 2009.
SMI completes purchase of Kentucky Speedway (AP)
Speedway Motorsports Inc. purchased Kentucky Speedway, clearing the way for SMI owner Bruton Smith to try and bring a coveted NASCAR Sprint Cup race to the 1.5-mile tri-oval in northern Kentucky.
