Saints beat Falcons 35-27, move to 7-0 (AP)

Drew Brees and the Saints are so good right now they can't even beat themselves. New Orleans overcame four turnovers for a second straight week to stay perfect with a 35-27 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night, matching the best start in franchise history. Brees, responsible for two turnovers, passed for 308 yards and two scores.

Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports that the The Bucs continued to raid other teams for talent. Late Monday, Tampa Bay signed former University of Cincinnati defensive back Mike Mickens from the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad. Mickens, 22, was a seventh-round pick of the Cowboys in April. The 6-foot, 189-pound Mickens was considered a first-round talent until a torn meniscus in his knee forced him to miss the final three games for the Bearcats last season.
