Philippoussis doubtful of comeback
Mark Philippoussis Wednesday conceded his tennis career may be over as he prepared for a fourth operation on an injured knee. “I’m not thinking about a comeback at the moment,” Philippoussis said after injuring his right knee during an Australian Open wildcard playoff in Melbourne.

Nalbandian wins Copa Argentina title (AP)
David Nalbandian, the top-ranked Argentine at No. 9 in the world, beat compatriot Juan Monaco 6-4, 7-5 on Sunday to the Copa Argentina final. Nalbandian also won the 2005 title at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.
