Hrbaty to miss Australian Open
Dominik Hrbaty will miss the Australian Open because of shoulder surgery. The 29-year-old Slovak, who has won six ATP tournaments, will have an arthroscopy on his right shoulder in Vienna, Austria, and will not resume training until mid-January, TV station TA3 said Friday. The Australian Open begins Jan. 14. Hrbaty only recently returned to training after having right elbow surgery on Sept. 4.
