Wimbledon vows not to shoot any more pigeons
Wimbledon organizers came under fire from animal rights groups for using marksmen to eradicate some pesky pigeons Sunday, but they have pledged to use only two hawks to keep the birds away for the remainder of the tournament.

Upsets help Ivanovic keep No. 1 ranking (AP)

Losses Monday by No. 3-ranked Jelena Jankovic and No. 4 Svetlana Kuznetsova ensured Ivanovic will retain the top spot, which she claimed for the first time after winning the French Open on June 7.
