Bob Gansler Honored With Prestigious Werner Fricker Builder Award
WAIKOLOA, Hawaii (February 16, 2008) — Bob Gansler, the former head coach of the U.S. Men’s National Team, was honored at U.S. Soccer’s Annual General Meeting in Waikoloa, Hawaii on Saturday as the recipient of the prestigious Werner Fricker Builder Award.
USA Drawn into Group A with Mexico and Jamaica for CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying
The U.S. has been drawn into Group A along with Jamaica and Mexico, for 2008 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico from April 2-12.
Regional State Assessor Course Schedule
In conjunction with the updates to the State Assessor Course, U.S. Soccer will offer four Regional State Assessor courses in 2008. Two coach/mentor instructors will be assigned by the Federation to teach each of the courses, and U.S. Soccer will cover the cost of the meeting rooms for the four regional locations.
