CHICAGO (November 25, 2007) — At the FIFA Preliminary Draw for the 2010 World Cup in Durban, South Africa, it was determined that the U.S. Men’s National Team will open their quest to qualify for a sixth consecutive World Cup in June in Group 1 with a home-and-away match series versus the winner of an opening-round series between the nations of Barbados and Dominica. The final match dates in June will be determined in the near future.
