U.S. National Futsal Team Defeated by UNESC, 4-1, as Preparations for FIFA Futsal World Cup Continue
The U.S. National Futsal team lost, 4-1, to UNESC, a Brazilian club side, on Sept. 2. Three goals in the first half proved to be enough of an advantage for UNESC, and, though the U.S. pulled a goal back through Matt Stewart in the 27th minute, the lead was insurmountable for Keith Tozer’s side.
